Prangle & Carey Ltd. was founded by Messrs Ron Prangle and Brian Carey, it became a limited company in 1965.  They are now both retired and the current director is Mr Colin Prangle.

The company has had a long association with the local council, now Weastlea Housing Association, carrying out off-road parking schemes and improvements under a term contract.

 

Prangle and Carey Ltd. has a comprehensive range of its own plant, from 16 ton to 3 ton 360º excavators, dumpers, rollers and lorries (one with palfinger crane).
